Before the Big Day

When Savannah and Sean began their wedding planning journey, one of their first stops was the Portland Venue Crawl. This unique event allowed them to tour multiple wedding venues in one day, meet top vendors, and enjoy some delightful nibbles and sips along the way.

The moment they laid eyes on the breathtaking views and elegant design of Amaterra Winery, they knew they had found the perfect venue for their dream wedding. Shortly after choosing the venue, they discovered us at the Portland Wedding Expo, and we instantly felt like it was the perfect match.

Their big day started bright and early with a meaningful Vietnamese Tea Ceremony hosted at their family homes. This colorful and emotional ceremony honored their elders and symbolized the union of their two families. It was a touching moment of tradition, filled with love, laughter, and tears of joy.

Wedding Day Jitters

Upon arriving at Amaterra Winery, we were greeted by the most perfect spring weather. As we prepared for the ceremony, the day was filled with laughter and excitement. In the groom’s suite, there was a spirited debate about how to properly tie a tie, while the bridesmaids sipped champagne and touched up their hair and makeup after the morning’s festivities.

Savannah and Sean’s first look was filled with nerves and excitement, but as soon as they saw each other, those nerves melted into pure emotion. They exchanged personal vows, creating an intimate and heartfelt moment just for the two of them.

The Big Moment

With their guests arriving, it was time for the ceremony to begin. Underneath the glowing spring sun, the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony that went off without a hitch. Having signed their marriage certificate that morning, Savannah and Sean headed straight into cocktail hour to celebrate with their guests, soaking in every moment of their special day.

The Grand Reception

As the party moved indoors, the couple made a jaw-dropping grand entrance complete with cold sparklers. The room was filled with cheers and excitement. Savannah and Sean, along with their parents, shared unforgettable first dances, set against a backdrop of clouds, creating a scene straight out of a movie.

Guests were treated to an elegant and delicious meal, prepared by the talented culinary team at Amaterra Winery. The evening continued with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and love, as friends and family from near and far shared words of encouragement.

A Moment to Themselves

One of the highlights of the day was when we whisked Savannah and Sean away for their sunset photos in the vineyard. It was their first private moment together since the ceremony, allowing them to reflect on how their dream wedding had come to life. As they embraced, they looked back (or in this case, up) at a balcony full of their loved ones, who were enjoying the celebration they had planned for months.

Time to Celebrate

As the night came to a close, family and friends joined the couple for the cake-cutting, photo booth fun, and plenty of dancing. The dance floor was so lively that it took multiple "last songs" to finally clear it out.

This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, and we’ll always hold it close to our hearts. From the love shared between Savannah and Sean to the incredible vendor team and stunning Amaterra Winery, this wedding was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
